THE SHORT VERSION
Techmilkyway DMCA Policy: Key Points in 60 Seconds
This Techmilkyway DMCA Policy covers two sides: protecting our work, and responding when someone says we have used theirs. So here are the basics.
©️
Our content is protected
Articles, photos, graphics, videos, our logo and our design belong to us or our contributors.
🔗
Sharing is welcome
Share links, or quote up to 50 words with a link back.
📨
Report a problem
Send a complete notice, and then we review it.
🔁
Fair process
You can send a counter-notice if we remove your content.
SECTION 01
Our Commitment to Copyright
Techmilkyway publishes original technology content, so we respect the rights of other creators. We follow the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), a United States law. We also work within international laws such as the Berne Convention.
This policy also works with our terms and conditions and disclaimer.
SECTION 02
Who Owns Techmilkyway Content
Under the Techmilkyway DMCA Policy, our articles, photos, graphics, videos, newsletters, logo, brand name and site design belong to Techmilkyway or to our licensed contributors. Because of this, copyright law protects them from the moment they are created.
However, product photos, logos and press images from manufacturers stay the property of their owners. We use them to illustrate our reviews and guides.

SECTION 03
What You Can and Can’t Do With Our Content
We want people to share our work fairly. So please follow these rules.
✅
You can
You can share links with attribution, and you can quote up to 50 words if you link back directly. You can also save articles for personal, non-commercial use.
🚫
You can’t
Please don’t republish an article in full, or translate and republish it, without permission. Also, don’t use it to train AI models, scrape it with automated tools, or use our name or logo commercially without approval.
If you break these rules, we may send a takedown notice or take other legal action.
SECTION 04
How to Report Copyright Infringement
Under the Techmilkyway DMCA Policy, if you believe someone has copied your work on Techmilkyway, you can send us a DMCA takedown notice. Please include all six items below, because we can’t act on an incomplete notice. Also, this Techmilkyway DMCA Policy asks you to consider fair use first. Quoting a short excerpt with credit can be fair use under copyright law.
1. A description of the copyrighted work you say was copied 2. The exact URL of the content on our site 3. Your full legal name, address, phone number and email 4. A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized 5. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner 6. Your physical or electronic signature
Email contact@techmilkyway.com with the subject line “DMCA Takedown Notice – Techmilkyway.com”. You can also use our contact page. Please note that we may share your notice, including your contact details, with the person who posted the content.
SECTION 05
What Happens After You Send a Notice
We handle every notice the same way, so here is our process:
1. First, we check that the notice is complete and valid. If it is not, we may ask you for the missing details. 2. Then we compare the content with the work you describe. 3. Next, if the claim is valid, we remove the content within 5 to 10 business days. 4. After that, we tell the person who posted it about their right to send a counter-notice. 5. Finally, we keep a record of the notice and our action.
SECTION 06
Counter-Notification
If we removed your content and you believe that was a mistake, the Techmilkyway DMCA Policy lets you send a counter-notice. Please include all six items:
1. A description of the removed content and its URL 2. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe in good faith that we removed it by mistake or misidentification 3. Your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your area, or, if you are outside the United States, where we can be found 4. Your agreement to accept legal papers from the person who filed the notice 5. Your full name, address, phone number and email 6. Your physical or electronic signature
Email contact@techmilkyway.com with the subject “DMCA Counter-Notification – Techmilkyway.com”. Then we will pass a valid counter-notice to the person who filed the original notice. After that, we may restore the content in 10 to 14 business days, unless they tell us they have filed a court action.
SECTION 07
Repeat Infringer Policy
The Techmilkyway DMCA Policy takes repeat violations seriously. If an account breaks copyright rules, we act in three steps:
1️⃣
First violation
First, we remove the content and send a warning.
2️⃣
Second violation
Next, we suspend the account for a time.
3️⃣
Third violation
Finally, we end the account permanently.
For willful or large-scale infringement, we may end an account right away and refer the matter to legal counsel.
SECTION 08
Licensing and Permissions
Want to republish, reuse or license our content? Please ask first, because that includes commercial use and AI licensing.
Email contact@techmilkyway.com with the subject “Content License Request – Techmilkyway”. Also, please include the URL, how you plan to use it, the platform and the time period. Then we reply within 7 business days.
SECTION 09
User Comments and Guest Posts
The Techmilkyway DMCA Policy also covers comments and guest posts. If a claim involves one, we follow the same steps as in Sections 04 to 07. For the rules about what you give us when you submit content, read our terms and conditions. If content is embedded from another site, such as a YouTube video, please report it to that platform as well.
SECTION 10
Misuse of the DMCA Process
Please send notices only when you are sure, because under US law, anyone who knowingly makes a false copyright claim can be responsible for damages. You can read the law in 17 U.S.C. § 512.
As a result, we may reject notices that are incomplete, abusive or sent in bad faith.
SECTION 11
Governing Law
This Techmilkyway DMCA Policy follows 17 U.S.C. § 512, the Berne Convention, the WIPO Copyright Treaty and the copyright laws that apply to our business. Also, to learn more about copyright, visit the U.S. Copyright Office.
SECTION 12
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Techmilkyway DMCA Policy when the law or our practices change. For that reason, we show the date of the last update at the top.
Changes take effect when we publish them. If you keep using the site afterward, you accept the updated policy.
